Current Canopy 5280 rewards customers, please email 5280@canopyparking.com with your full name, email address on file with Canopy, and your ExpressToll transponder number located on the device. Once you receive a confirmation email that your account is linked, you will use your ExpressToll transponder to enter and exit the facility and it will directly bill your 5280 account.

What type of ExpressToll device do I need to have?

We accept all ExpressToll transponder devices including the sticker, square transponder and the new HOV switchable transponder.

Can I add multiple ExpressToll transponders to my 5280 account?

Unfortunately at this time, our system only allows one ExpressToll transponder number per 5280 account; but you can create multiple 5280 accounts online (please email 5280@canopyparking.com with your new 5280 user name and ExpressToll transponder number so we can complete your new account). You can still earn rewards with both vehicles but we will have to apply your free days manually since we are combining accounts. We suggest you link your 5280 account to the vehicle you drive most frequently to the airport.

Can I sign up in person?

No. This is not an automatic process so we ask that you please signup online.

How do I update my ExpressToll transponder number on my 5280 account?

We are in the process of updating our online system to accommodate this new program so for the time being, please email 5280@canopyparking.com with any changes to your ExpressToll account.

If I join the 5280/ExpressToll program, can I still earn rewards?

Yes, you can! To redeem your points for free days, sign on to your account, navigate to the “Rewards” tab, select where you would like to park (valet, covered, open air), select the number of days you wish to redeem and then reserve the dates. You will use your 5280 card like you normally do, and will not be charged for the days you have redeemed. NOTE: You must park in the lot which you reserved with your frequent parker points, or you will be charged for your stay. If you park valet, you must hand the valet attendant your 5280 card to scan you in valet. If you have multiple 5280 accounts, please email Lynda@canopyparking.com and she can manually combine your points and schedule your free days.

How does it work once my account is linked?

We have installed the ExpressToll transponder readers at our entrance, covered parking areas and exit lanes. So once your accounts are linked, you can pull up to the express lanes (far right) and the gate will open by reading your ExpressToll transponder in your windshield. The 25% discount is automatically applied to your account at exit. Please note, it can take a little bit longer at exit because it is charging your credit card. Note, charges will be applied to your 5280 account not your ExpressToll account.

Can I keep my 5280 card after I link my ExpressToll transponder?

Your 5280 card will no longer be active once your account is linked to your ExpressToll transponder. We are requesting customers help us reuse and recycle by returning the card within 30 days. If you would prefer to keep your 5280 card for your additional vehicle, please follow these steps.

  1. Create a new 5280 account online
  2. Once your new account is created, email 5280@canopyparking.com your new username and the ExpressToll transponder for your primary vehicle.
  3. Your account that is linked to your ExpressToll transponder will receive 25% off and you may continue to use your 5280 prox card for your additional vehicle(s).

Keep in mind, your 5280 card offers a 15% discount compared to 25% with ExpressToll.

Where can I find my ExpressToll transponder number?

Your ExpressToll transponder number should be at least 7 digits and can be found on your transponder (see photo below) or by logging into your ExpressToll account and clicking on “add/edit vehicles” on the left hand side. Expresstoll for E-470 Placement Locations

Can I have more than one ExpressToll Transponder attached to my rewards account?

No, our system only allows for one ExpressToll transponder per Canopy 5280 account.

Where can I find my 5280 number?

Your 5280 number can be found on the back of your 5280 prox card.

Can I return my 5280 card to the cashier or shuttle driver?

We prefer you drop it off in our indoor lobby so we can ensure tracking and honor your free day. You may also mail it back to us directly at: Canopy Airport Parking Attn: 5280 8100 Tower Road Commerce City, CO 80022 Please note, once you receive a confirmation email that your account has been linked, your 5280 card will be deactivated and the credit card information can no longer be accessed.  

How do I redeem my frequent parker points?

To redeem your points for free days, sign on to your account, navigate to the “Rewards” tab, select where you would like to park (valet, covered, open air), select the number of days you wish to redeem and then reserve the dates. You must use your ExpressToll system like you normally do to enter and exit, and will not be charged for the days you have redeemed.

How do I redeem points if I have multiple 5280 accounts?

If you create multiple 5280 accounts you will not be able to redeem your rewards online; instead, you will email Lynda@canopyparking.com and she can manually combine your points and schedule your free days. For additional 5280/ExpressToll questions, please email 5280@canopyairportparking.com

What should I do if the gate doesn't automatically open?

Please watch the quick video below for a quick demonstration of what do if the gate does not open. If the gate still does not open, please ask for the booth attendants help. In order for the system and discount to work properly, we kindly ask that you do not pull a white ticket from the machine.

Do you have to have a signup for the program or have a coupon to receive the ExpressToll discount?

Starting October 1, 2015 ExpressToll customers will need to register for the ExpressToll rewards program, or have the ExpressToll coupon with QR code at checkout to receive the discount. Canopy will no longer be honoring the discount at checkout by showing your ExpressToll transponder. Please note the QR coupon is available on the ExpressToll website once you are logged into your account.
