Snow and then back to the 50s
February, which is typically our snowiest month on record, has thrown us for a loop with record breaking temperatures. Luckily, we received a dusting of snow on Monday night to help with moisture problems, but it was quickly followed by temperatures in the 50’s and we are expecting another warm weekend. I-70 Rockslide Closures
I-70 near Glenwood Springs has been closed due to a major rockslide on February 15th. The highway is expected to reopen with heavy traffic. Learn more here.
Outdoor Hockey at Coors Field
The NHL Stadium series continues at Coors Field this weekend with the alumni game on Friday and the Avalanche vs Red Wings face off on Saturday. Temperatures are suppose to be in the 60s on Saturday…want to know how they keep the rink from melting? Watch this video.

CU Buffs Defeat Arizona!
CU Men’s Basketball beat Arizona (ranked #9) for their 400th win at home! This was the third largest attendance at Coors Event Center in history and the largest crowd this season. CU plays their last home game Sunday, February 28th versus Arizona State.
