It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no really it’s a train!
After more than 20 years of planning, the RTD high speed train from Union Station to Denver International Airport is opening Earth Day, Friday April 22nd. There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at DIA on Friday at 10am, and an Earth Day celebration at Union Station in LoDo from 10am-2pm. Train rides are free Friday and Saturday, after that it will be $9 per person each way. While this sounds like a great deal, it’s not always the best option for airport transportation.
