Repainting Iconic Blue Horse at DIA?
Friday, April 1st, was April Fool’s Day and some locals fell for a rouse by DIA. They posted online asking for the public’s opinion on a new paint color for the famous blue horse. Personally, we would have loved for it to change to the Snow Cone Green Mustang. This story made headlines and was even published on Mashable.
Lucky’s Market, the next local Whole Foods?
Kroger recently announced that it has invested in Lucky’s Market, a Colorado-based specialty grocery chain focused on natural, organic and locally grown products. New Denver Curfew
April 1st marked the first day of the Denver curfew enforcement. Denver’s Curfew Ordinance prohibits youth from being in a public place or on public property from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. On Friday and Saturday those hours are 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. Learn more about this new law and some of the exceptions to the rule here.
Masters Tournament
Okay, so this isn’t local but is still worth mentioning, especially given all the avid golfers in Colorado.
