Meet Pete Krausa – the new GM of Canopy Airport Parking!
How long have you lived in Colorado and what’s your favorite thing about our state? Colorado resident since 1994 – a transplant from New Jersey who had been searching for a place that would inspire me to put down roots. My travels have taken me to 19 countries and 49 states and Colorado was the place that captivated me enough to want to stay. It is a beautiful state, but I think the people who live here make it remarkable. Favorite place to eat at the airport? My favorite place to eat at the airport is Red Rocks in the main terminal, primarily because the BBQ is provided by Winston Hill, a former NFL player for the NY Jets – my favorite team! What’s your dream vacation? My dream vacation is to spend a month in Costa Rica, living among its wonderful people (but my kids still believe my dream vacation is Disneyland.) What’s your favorite aspect of working at Canopy Airport Parking? My favorite part about working at Canopy is – without a doubt – my colleagues. This organization understands that people are the most important asset for a successful company, and this spirit attracts the very best employees – it’s great to come to work every day with people who truly love their job! Canopy is the first facility to be Green Garage Certified. What do you think is the coolest sustainability feature at Canopy? I absolutely love the sustainability features at Canopy. I care deeply about the environment and the fact Canopy has a nearly net zero carbon footprint impresses me greatly.
