Employee Spotlight: Mark Parker
How long have you lived in Colorado and what’s your favorite thing about our state?
I have lived in Colorado for three years. I also spent 15 years living in Florida and am originally from Missouri. I love the weather here in Colorado and the fact that it is sunny 300 days a year. My family and I love outdoor sports and recreation. There is so much of that to enjoy here in our great state!
Where is your favorite place to eat? What dish do you recommend?
Sam’s # 3. Any of the burgers they have are amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They were even featured on “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives”! If it’s good enough for Guy Fieri, it’s good enough for my family and I!
What is your favorite vacation that you’ve ever been on? What set it apart from the others?
I took a trip to Europe when I was 13. I got to spend 21 days with my brother whom was stationed in Germany. We got to see several countries during the trip. The sights were breathtaking and memorable. Sort of like here in Colorado!
What’s your dream vacation? Are there any interesting things you want to do or see there?
I would love to go to Cuba with my wife and kids. I think it’d be great to get a chance to look at a part of the world that many folks have not been able to see. I hear they have sugar-white beaches, which sounds amazing!
What’s your favorite aspect of working at Canopy Airport Parking®?
The culture of the employees at Canopy™ and the fact that they truly care about their jobs and all of our guests. I also love meeting our customers and ensuring they enjoy their experiences with us. If you could have any car, in any color, what would it be?
Easy. Cherry red 1964-1/2 Mustang Convertible. It’s like the pinnacle of classic cars!
