We can all agree that getting to the airport can be a huge hassle, especially if you are not alone. From struggling with luggage, to making sure everyone is safe and accounted for, it can be quite an ordeal. Today we are going to explore all the different ways to get your loved ones, yourself, and all your belongings to the airport in one piece! Without losing your mind… At Canopy Airport Parking® we strive to make your trip to the airport as easy as possible, but we also want to compare other means of airport transportation so you can see for yourself, the pros and cons of each method, and decide what works best for you! We are calculating the time and cost from Downtown Denver so your own trip may vary. Let’s take a closer look!

RTD Light Rail Service: A – Line
Time: 37 minutes Cost: $9 per person Since its opening last year the A-Line has been under some tough criticism. It’s estimated that about 20,000 people use the line everyday, which is far more than was originally anticipated. This has lead to delays on its own, and last December passengers were arriving 30 minutes to an hour late due to frozen tracks. It does however seem that RTD is doing it’s best to sort out the problems as they occur. Although the A Line is only $9 per person, per ride it can add up quickly on a family vacation and having to lug your baggage on and off the train is less than ideal.
Uber/Lyft
Time: 35 minutes
Cost: $34 for up to 4 Uber and Lyft have revolutionized the world of transportation. Both are easy to use and have fast service but with your trip to and from the airport totaling a whopping $68 on average, it can be a bit of a splurge. Many of the rides often have limited space for people and luggage. Although this method appears to be the most convenient, you will have to pay the price.
Shared Pick-up Shuttle Service
Time:45-60 minutes Cost: $29 per person To ride a shuttle service can be the least convenient and least cost effective. Once picked up by the shuttle service you will probably ride around your neighborhood for an extra 15-30 minute before you head to the airport. It is also important to note that many of the shuttle services have baggage limits that need to be considered so you aren’t charged for extra.
